New Gigs!

In honour of that great Pisshead himself Jesus H. Christ, we've got a nice full Easter weekend, so come and check out the Caravan of Dooom in either one of two fine locations.
First up on Saturday we join the legions of the crust at the Such is Life punk festival, in regional Victoria. If you've never danced wildly to ear-drums-bleeding thundering crust punk in a muddy field, then this could be your chance. The Caravan of Dooom will take the stage around 5 on Saturday the 3rd, and bring a much needed dose of self-referential circus/sideshow comedy to the whole affair. Tickets are still available - this is a great, locally produced DIY event, so don't miss out!

And on Sunday, Roll up ladies, gentlemen, and the rest of you, for your weekend fix of psychadelic grunge rock and apocalyptic punk circus only at the Arthouse! This Sunday the 4th for a donation entry, two juggernauts of Melbourne's seedy arts underbelly - the Filthy Bourgeois and the Caravan of Dooom, join forces to present a spectacle never to be forgotten. Also featuring special guests Team Red and The Beat Disease. Celebrate Jesus how he would have wanted - at the pub! Doors open 7.30.

So don't be a family holiday fuckhead this year, come and hang out with us cause we're awesome, and we'll make you feel awesome too.
Nice ONe.

Adelaide Recap - Tents, Drugs and Bikers

Well now!
Its been a busy start to the year. Seems as soon as we were back from Tasmania and the Falls Festival, we were off again to the city of churches - RAdelaide for another year of the amazing Fringe Festival. Don't we all look incredibly excited in this photo?
Thats what working three jobs in a day will do to you. Between working for the Garden of Unearthly Delights, Circus Oz, and Sideshow Wonderland/Mutant Barnyard, we also managed to squeeze in gigs by the Filthy Bourgeois (see photo),

a few Caravan of Dooom sets, and Captain Ruin rustled us up two evenings of slick entertainment in the comfort of the 100 year old Deluxe Spiegeltent!
Not to mention all the networking, partying and high quality biker drugs.

Speaking of Bikers, Captain Ruin was fortunate enough to be part of a 400 strong biker rally in protest against SA's restrictive Organised Crime Laws and he discovered that the bikers have actually started their own political party which has a quite impressive and forward thinking set of policy objectives - check them out at www.freeaustralia.org

All in all busy two months! Thanks to everyone who helped us out, with accomodation, frienddship, trust opportunities, the odd sexual encounter, the free beer, the gigs, the smiles, the dodgy fucking carny crew forever! Especially thanks to Strut n Fret, Fez Fanaana, One Trick Pony and Hoopla Clique - you are all wicked!

So now its back to work - heaps of gigs coming up. Watch this space!

thats all for now - see you out there...
